What is the difference between roping, barrel racing and trail saddles?
The roping model prioritizes a robust build and reinforced tree. Barrel models are lighter and support a stable seat through turns. The trail model has a deep seat designed for long rides.
What should I compare between a new handmade saddle and a used saddle?
Compare its exact condition, size, tree, intended use, included options, final price in Canadian dollars, delivery and after-sales terms. The Patriot team can explain the specifications of a model; always request the quote and terms in writing before buying.
How are Patriot saddles made?
Every Patriot saddle is made entirely by hand, piece by piece, by saddle makers trained in the Brazilian western saddlery tradition, then checked and shipped from Longueuil, Quebec. Ask for the production details of the specific model you are considering before you order.
