Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

Patriot Western Saddles is based in Longueuil, Quebec. The responsible person’s published title is “Privacy Officer — Patriot Western Saddles.” To exercise a right or ask a question, email contact@patriotsaddles.ca.

2. Information you choose to provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. A phone number is optional. If you communicate through WhatsApp, phone, SMS, email, Instagram or Facebook, we also receive the information you voluntarily include in that conversation.

3. Technical data and preferences

Vercel hosts the site and may process basic technical data needed for operation and security, such as IP address, browser type, device, page viewed and request time. Vercel Web Analytics measures pages, sources and devices in aggregate without advertising cookies; it does not store the raw IP address and rotates the salt used for its hashed visitor identifier every day. Your language choice is saved in your browser local storage so the site can remember that preference.

4. Why the information is used

Information you send is used to answer your request, understand the model or discipline you are interested in, prepare the sales conversation and support the operation and security of the site. This website does not use it to make automated decisions about you.

5. External services and communication

Vercel hosts the site. When server-side form delivery is enabled, Resend delivers the email: your name, email address, optional phone number and message are then sent to it, and its account data is stored in the United States. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook open services operated by Meta under their own policies. By submitting the form after reading the displayed notice, you consent to this delivery required for us to answer.

6. Retention and your choices

Resend states that it retains email data for about 30 days on its standard plans. The copy Patriot receives may be kept for as long as needed to answer your request, follow your project or meet an applicable obligation. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing contact@patriotsaddles.ca.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information you send. No Internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send sensitive information or payment details through the contact form.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the site, its forms or its services change. The date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
